Educational Establishment «Brest State A.S. Pushkin University» is the oldest educational establishment of the Brest region. The university occupies three academic buildings, 5 student dormitories, the sports complex with a swimming pool, the library, the biological museum, the ethnographic museum, the winter garden and the garden of continuous blossoming, the agrobiological station.

The structure of the university includes 9 faculties, Institute for Advanced Studies and Retraining (ipk.brsu.by). Pinsk College (pinskcol.brsu.by), which trains personnel with specialized secondary education, is a separate unit of the university.

The training of specialists is carried out by high-qualified teaching staff in 29 specialties of the 1st stage of higher education, 17 specialties of the 2nd stage of higher education and 15 specialties of the graduate studies.

The university's educational services are attractive and competitive. More than 1100 foreign citizens from Turkmenistan, Russia, Ukraine, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, USA, Pakistan, Slovakia, France and China study at the university.

In the Webometrics ranking (June 2022) the university takes the 4926th place among universities worldwide and the 9th place among 57 universities in Belarus.

In 2020 the university was for the second time awarded the Prize of the Government of Belarus in the field of quality for the achievement of significant results in the field of quality and competitiveness of educational services, scientific products, the introduction of innovative technologies and management.
